When I’m not reading or cheering on my favorite Minnesota sports teams, I enjoy watching movies. Whether sitting at home on my couch watching the flat screen, or at the cinema with a bucket of popcorn in my lap, I enjoy a good flick.
Last summer on this blog, I posted a number of recently-released and upcoming films based off YA novels. Now that we are heading into the “summer blockbuster” movie season of 2015, I would like to update that list with a few new films. School libraries may want to consider making sure that have extra copies of these titles, as they are sure to be popular for the rest of this school year and into next as their companion films are enjoyed by teens.
