Art Workshops for Children Giveaway (Contest Closed)
It’s hard not to be inspired by Hervé Tullet’s creative work, and we are excited about his new book aimed at adults who work with kids to serve as a guide as they incorporate art activities into their own work. If you missed Hervé Tullet’s guest post yesterday, definitely check it out. He shared his ideas about creativity, trust, and improvisation.
Today, we are giving away a copy of Art Workshops for Children by Herve Tullet to two lucky winners!
Whether you are a media specialist looking to support your art teachers or an arts educator yourself wanting to try Tullet’s strategies, this book is one you will not want to miss. It opens with an essay from Tullet about his workshop philosophy and closes with an essay from Sophie Van der Linden about Tullet’s work and the way it encourages kids to play, explore, and imagine. In between, there are eleven workshop ideas that will work in a classroom or other group setting to share the idea that art is a process not an outcome. This book will be a valuable resource for teachers in schools with a STEAM initiative to add an arts element to their classroom repertoire.
Enter your name and email address in the form below by 10 a. m. CST on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 for a chance to win. Winners will be selected by a random number generator and contacted by email on Wednesday morning. Good luck!
