Lights, Camera, Action!

Whether I was watching The Wizard of Oz or Saturday morning cartoons as a child, or marveling at films like Interstellar and TV mysteries like LOST more recently, I’ve always been a fan of the film and TV arts.  In conjunction with my obvious love of printed literature (hence my Librarian job title), I also enjoy stories on the screen, both big and small.  I think this “movie bug” even runs in my family, too, as one of my younger brothers is currently interning at a production company in Hollywood, CA!  With the Academy Awards (the biggest night of the year for movie buffs) a scant two weeks away, it seems like a good time for some recommendations of titles that can inspire those who share similar passions in the realm of film, television, and acting…
